Time Flies

Where did these precious little girls go?

Sometimes I miss them so much.

Sometimes I see glimpses of them, they are the same…..yet different.

Then I remember, they are right here and pride fills my heart at the young ladies they’ve become.

As I look at these two pictures, tears form in my eyes.

They are happy tears, proud tears.

My how time flies.

  1. Hi Christy,
I have two children – a son 18, and a daughter 16. My son is starting college, and my daughter her junior year of high school. I too look upon them with both pride and a little twinge of sadness for the youth that is no longer. But like you I see flashes of their childhood personas occasionally, and I always smile. It’s so comforting, somehow. I guess that’s part of being a Mom.

  2. simple and yet so touchy!!!
honestly, for some it might just appear as a blog with personal emotion wrapped in words and frames
but to me it was more than a musical piece that can never fade with time nor fail to revitalize any drop of stress.

    get going dear!!!

    🙂
